The sky broke. Just like that. Shattered, like millions of razor sharp pieces of glass that had once reflected an endless blue.
Endless now found its end.
You would think such a thing would be the finish to all things…Not at all. The transformation that followed the broken sky was shattering in its sheer beauty. A bizarre beauty that had always been hidden to the human eye. I thought this new sky left behind was far better than any jewel or miracle or any other splendor you could name.
Space stretched forever. That vast expanse of terrifying and mysterious magnificence showed what had lain behind endless sky. The planetary bodies sat like sleeping giants, rings aglow with color, moons travelling lethargically in orbit. Our own moon sat there, levitating, broken in half, light and dark side by side.
Within the colors of space the stars burned. Reddish gases streaking through like ribbon, appearing like a celestial waterfall pouring over the edge into nothingness.
In wonder everyone stares into this new atmosphere, transfixed, lost in oblivion.

lost in the oceans lullaby.
i am diving into the belly of the sea.
my hair is tangled in seaweed and my ears are full of sand. i'm following in the shadow of a pirate's ship and discovering how impossible it is to paint its hull a more beautiful shade of rust. i'm catching glimpses of mermaids in the mirrors of an underwater kingdom and befriending anglerfish and bottlenose dolphins.

i am searching in the tide pools.
i am reaching into each microscopic world and coming up with nothing but sand-encrusted fingernails and handfuls of hermit crabs. i am watching as starfish stretch their million little hands, reaching in search of something invisible to me. and my fee

stars.
laying at night, under the stars, i sigh
the memories whisper, as the cars pass by
i dream of my love and the days that have passed
those wonderful days that just didn't last
i sit and remember the things that once were
the things that are over, now just a blur
the stars drown out the pain that i feel
those pains in my heart were once quite real
but they go away as the stars shine on my face
as i close my eyes, my problems erase
those dazzling stars hanging up in the sky
tell me to keep my head held high
for no matter what troubles may come in sight
the stars will be there every night

Lost Hope's
She sit's alone, isolated under
The stars.
She watch's the shadows of
A horrible future that just
Wont shine.
She wants to touch a star,
But its not hers.
Memories sail across her eyes,
Wanting to be released from
Their imprisonment.
She tries to paint a lovely picture,
But her realease from the
Shadows comes with a horrible
Twist.
For her paint brush is a razor
And her paper is her wrist.

So this is a part of a dream I remembered from last night, hence the title "Dreamland: blahblahblah". I had this new idea to do a small series-type thing of wickedly awesome or strange dreams I remember and putting them too words. Just a glimpse for you all to see how creative my mind can be
